Best Time To Go

Truthfully, there is no bad time to go to France. The mild climate makes most of the year a great time to go.

When visiting Paris, the spring months, April and May, and fall months of September, October and November give visitors pleasant temperatures with smaller crowds at popular attractions.

March through May, and again from September through November, are ideal for visiting the south of France.

July and August are the warmest, and most crowded times to visit both Paris and the south of France. You will see larger crowds and more expensive accommodation during these months.
