Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit Austria is during the summer months of June, July, and August. During this time Austria has plenty of warm, sunny days. This is the peak tourist season, however, which means you are likely to encounter higher prices and larger crowds than during other times of the year.

It can be argued that the shoulder seasons are actually the best time to visit Austria. These being the spring months of April and May, as well as the fall months of September and October. These times of year provide the perfect weather for enjoying outdoor activities and have the added bonus of fewer visitors and smaller crowds.
