Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit Finland really depends on what you are looking to do. The warmest temperatures are during the summer months, June, July, and August. The days are long, and the landscapes are blooming to their fullest. This is also the time when most big events are held.

December, January, February, and March are the best months for winter activities. The north’s below-freezing temperatures can be extreme, but the beauty and serenity of the snow cover make bundling up and bearing it more than worth it. Way up in Lapland, the Northern Lights can be seen regularly from September through March.
