Best Time To Go

The best time to visit the Vatican, and Rome, is during the spring and fall shoulder months of May, September, and October

During these times you avoid both the heat and the dense crowds of tourists on summer holiday. The shoulder season’s weather is generally mild and pleasant. The prices on airfare and accommodation will be slightly better than during peak summer season as well.

June, July and August will see both the highest temperatures and the highest number of visitors.
