Best Time To Visit
The best time to visit Cambodia is during the dry season, which generally runs from November through March. This time of year sees the most pleasant, cool and dry, days. However this is the high season when tourism is at its peak, so be ready for larger crowds and higher prices at popular destinations.
The months of May to October make up the wet season in Cambodia. The rains tend to end around October, making it a great time to find lower prices and less crowded temples. An added bonus is that Tonle Sap, SE Asia’s largest lake will have its highest water levels of the year, making it a great time to visit its floating villages.
The green season in Cambodia is during the summer months of June through August. The heat and humidity can be overwhelming if you aren’t accustomed to it. However, the landscape this time of year is beautifully lush and green.
