Best Time To Go
The best time to visit Kenya is during the dry season, which consists of the months of June – October, and January to February. June through October, the game is easier to spot and there are fewer mosquitos. The wildebeest can be seen in vast numbers starting in July until they migrate back to Tanzania in October. Since this considered is the high season, many of the parks will be crowded and the prices will be at their highest.
Spring in Kenya is the low season. During the months of March, April, and May, many lodges and camps shut down due to the rains. However, if you are willing to roll the dice with the weather, the Maasai Mara can be visited year-round. This is the time to find less crowded parks and lower rates.
