From World Traveler to New York City Explorer

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ben’s journey to New York was anything but conventional. After a successful career in sales, Ben realized he wanted more out of life. In 2014, driven by a deep desire to explore the world, he saved up his money, sold his home, and quit his job to pursue his dream of global travel. Over the course of several years, he meticulously planned trips that took him to over 40 states, 50 countries, and all seven continents. Whether immersing himself in new cultures, sampling exotic foods, scuba diving or summiting moutains, Ben’s love for exploration and adventure grew with every destination.

Ben’s life took an unexpected turn when he met JoJo during a weekend visit to New York. Little did he know that striking up a conversation with this New York City girl at a bar would lead him to both the love of his life and a newfound love for the city itself. Soon after meeting JoJo, Ben moved to New York and brought with him the same inquisitive, culture-absorbing approach that shaped his international travels. Despite exploring some of the most breathtaking places in the world, Ben believes that no place compares to the energy, diversity, and cultural richness of New York City. He hasn’t stopped exploring – diving headfirst into the city’s diverse neighborhoods, museums, historical and cultural sites, and, of course, its world-renowned food scene. His global travel experience gives him a unique lens for uncovering the special, often overlooked details of New York, helping him create itineraries that go beyond the ordinary.

We weren’t oblivious to the challenges New York presents to both locals and visitors. Over time, we realized we had become experts at planning seamless, curated trips to New York, hoping our guests would fall in love with the city as much as we have.
